Printing with a paper format not registered in the printer can result in an unintended print result. To add a paper size to your printer, you need to send the paper format to the printer unlike configuring the printer for normal paper.

However, when I open the Print dialog, the mini-preview says says “(Japanese Postcard)” and shows my text in the top left corner of the page area. Writer shows my text correctly centered on a 3x5 page while I’m editing. In the Page Format settings, I set Format to User, Width to 3", and Height to 5".
